We’re looking for energetic geologists to work in Yukon in 2026. Cascadia has a fully-funded 15,000 m drilling program at its road-accessible Carmacks copper-gold deposit and an exciting regional exploration program planned across Yukon’s Stikine Terrane.
We are currently hiring for the following roles:
Cascadia Minerals is seeking an experienced Senior Geologist to support and advance our mineral exploration portfolio in the Yukon.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on exploration, technical leadership, a fast paced-environment and working advancing a portfolio of projects from grassroots discovery through to drilling. You’ll play a key role in designing and executing exploration programs, interpreting geological data, and mentoring a team of young geologists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and execute field-based exploration programs, focused on regional grassroots exploration
- Interpret and integrate geological mapping, geochemistry, geophysics, and drill data
- Develop and prioritize exploration targets
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior geologists
- Contribute to technical reporting, budgets, and exploration strategy
Qualifications & Experience:
- BSc or MSc in Geology or Earth Sciences
- 8+ years of mineral exploration experience (Canadian Cordillera experience an asset)
- Strong background in hard-rock exploration, particularly grassroots exploration
- Proficiency with GIS, Leapfrog, and industry-standard geological software
- Excellent communication and technical reporting skills
- Familiarity with Yukon or Northern BC geology is an asset
- Experience conducting field operations in mountainous and forested terrain is an asset
- Eligible to work in Canada

Cascadia Minerals is looking for Geologists to join our exploration team, with a strong emphasis on drill core logging and geological data collection across our Yukon projects.
This role is ideal for an early- to mid-career geologist who enjoys working directly with drill core and contributing high-quality geological observations that drive interpretation and targeting. You’ll be an integral part of active exploration programs, working closely with senior geologists and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Detailed geological logging of diamond drill core (lithology, alteration, mineralization, structure)
- Oriented core measurements and structural data collection
- Sampling, QA/QC, and core handling
- Support geological interpretation through accurate data capture and database management
- Assist with field mapping, geochemical sampling, and other exploration activities as required
Qualifications & Experience:
- BSc in Geology or Earth Sciences
- 2–5+ years of mineral exploration experience preferred
- Strong core logging skills and attention to geological detail
- Familiarity with exploration workflows and data management systems
- Willingness to work in remote field settings on rotational schedules
- Eligible to work in Canada

Cascadia Minerals is looking for Core Cutters to join our exploration team at our Carmacks project in Yukon.
This role is an entry level labour position which will provide exposure to the exploration in a fast-paced remote camp setting. You’ll be an integral part of our exploration program, working closely with our geology team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Splitting and sampling drill core using a core cutting saw
- Processing and organizing samples for shipment to the assay lab
Qualifications & Experience:
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs repetitively
- Willingness to work in a remote camp setting on a rotational schedules
- Strong attention to detail
