We’re looking for energetic geologists or geology students to join our regional program in Yukon, as well as Core Cutters and Soil Samplers at our Carmacks drilling project. Cascadia has a fully-funded 15,000 m drilling program at its road-accessible Carmacks copper-gold deposit and an exciting regional exploration program planned across Yukon’s Stikine Terrane.
We are currently hiring for the following roles:
Cascadia Minerals is looking for Geologists to join our regional exploration team, with a strong emphasis on prospecting and mapping and other regional exploration work across our Yukon projects.
This role is ideal for an early- to mid-career geologist who enjoys hiking, fieldwork and contributing to meaningful new discoveries. You’ll be an integral part of active exploration programs, working closely with senior geologists and project teams.
Work can commence immediately, and employment is available until the end of September, with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting fieldwork on grassroots copper-gold porphyry exploration projects in Yukon
- Prospecting, field mapping and geochemical sampling, and other exploration activities as required
Qualifications & Experience:
- BSc in Geology or Earth Sciences or current Geology or Earth Sciences student preferred
- 1–5+ years of mineral exploration experience preferred
- Good physical fitness and ability to hike through mountainous terrain
- Willingness to work in remote helicopter access field settings and on rotational schedules
- Eligible to work in Canada

Cascadia Minerals is looking for Core Cutters to join our exploration team at our Carmacks project in Yukon.
This role is an entry level labour position which will provide exposure to the exploration in a fast-paced remote camp setting. You’ll be an integral part of our exploration program, working closely with our geology team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Splitting and sampling drill core using a core cutting saw
- Processing and organizing samples for shipment to the assay lab
Qualifications & Experience:
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs repetitively
- Willingness to work in a remote camp setting on a rotational schedules
- Strong attention to detail

Cascadia Minerals is looking for Soil Samplers to join our exploration team in Yukon.
This role is an entry level position which will provide exposure to the exploration in a fast-paced remote camp setting. You will be helping to collect early stage geological information to identify and refine targets for further exploration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting soil samples in the field
- Processing and organizing samples for shipment to the assay lab
- Other exploration support tasks as required
Qualifications & Experience:
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Physically fit and able to spend long days hiking through forest and brush
- Willingness to work in a remote camp setting on a rotational schedules
- Strong attention to detail
